The front desk automation (certification alerts, patient portal, birthday reminders, e-newsletters) and clinician automation (progress note and reevaluation countdown, autotext technology, flowsheet templates, tasks and messages) are sufficient to set them apart. They didn’t stop there.
Other Changes - Language taken from iOS language setting - 5.4.1 (macOS) - Fixed Bugs - Addressed 'deskrtipcerror' issue - Fixed crash on incoming chat message - Installation process has been improved - System language autodetect issue is fixed - Fixed display of client name in recent sessions list - Fixed indicator of remote. Method 2: Resetting the router to the factory settings. One quick and painless method that will most likely resolve the “This device is blocked by access control in the router” issue is to simply reset the router to its factory settings. After waiting a few minutes and logging back in, you should find that none of your connected devices are.
In a world of growing technology and mobile workplaces, the need for remote support is more critical than ever. Although using remote desktops tools has become quite common in the last time, there may still be some concerns regarding security when using remote support tools. “If we install this software on our computers, can we be sure that no one outside the company can access our computers?” This is a question that we have heard quite often, that´s why we developed our whitelist feature.
Overview
As you know, to start a session, you need the computer’s AnyDesk address. The request must then be confirmed by the computer user before the session is established. The whitelist sets out exactly who is authorized to access your computer. If the whitelist is active, only a pre-defined group of people will be able to connect. This ensures that nobody who isn’t authorized to do so can start a session. The whitelist could contain all the computers in your IT department, for example. Or perhaps just your own personal laptop, so that requests can only be made from there.
Setting up your whitelist
You can find the Access Control List in the security tab of the AnyDesk settings. In order to activate access control, the security tab has to be unlocked. Use the + button to add an entry. A text entry will appear at the bottom of the list. Entries can be removed using the “-” button after they have been selected. After setting up the list, only users who are on the whitelist have the ability to access that particular device.

Wildcards (* and ?) are supported to match against an alias (pc-1@ad). This is useful for example to restrict connections to a specific company (e.g. *@company will grant access to service-1@company, service-2@company, but not to trudy@competitor) or even to specific hosts (e.g. service-?@company will grant access to service-1@company and service-2@company, but not to sales-1@company). Wildcards do not apply to numerical ids.
At AnyDesk, we pride ourselves in putting our customers and users first, always working to ensure our solutions are the best available in the market. Please keep in mind that we are planning to bring you more security features that will allow you more detailed control on who can access which computer.

Instructions for customers with a Common Access Card
Before proceeding with the following instructions, please restart your browser and attempt to re-select your certificate. You will need a Common Access Card (CAC) with DoD Certificates. You should attempt to use every browser and DoD certificate available to you. If the issue reoccurs, please review the PDF documents and the information below:
Per the DISA DEPS Support Team, the error you are receiving (the F5 Error) is most likely due to a dual persona issue. Users should first try using the FBCA Cross-Certificate Remover 1.17 below to remove certificates which cause the cross-certificate chaining issue for DoD users. Instructions on how to use the file is outlined in the FBCA Cross-Certificate Remover 1.15 User Guide below. If this does not work, users should try activating their PIV utilizing the PIV Certificate Activation Steps PDF below.
Important Notes:
- Users who do not have dual personas, but still receive the error, should still attempt the steps provided.
- You might need to contact your local IT helpdesk to help with this issue especially if you do not have proper permissions to complete part of the instructions (i.e. if you need to update Java or ActivClient in order to complete the steps on the RAPIDS site for activating your PIV).
- Also, please note STEP 10 in the PIV Certificate Activation Steps. After activating your PIV it might not be your email certificate that gives you access to the DoD Cyber Exchange NIPR once you’ve completed all of the Steps in the document.
Additional Tips:
- After activating your PIV, we’ve have found that best practice is to perform a reboot of your computer after activating their PIV, reopen the browser, go to the site and select the certificate.
- If the certificate still doesn’t work try closing out of your browser completely, reopening it again and selecting one of the other certificates. We’ve also noticed that some users had to test each certificate before they found the one the that worked. If you are still unable to get to the site after that you might need to try the PIV Certificate Activation Steps again. Sometimes it takes more than 1 time before the PIV is properly activated.
- Many stated that they failed in the early steps of the PIV Certificate Activation Steps, and stated that if they skip the early steps, and proceed directly with step 11 for the Advanced Configuration Manager step, they could do that independently. It turned out that all they needed to do were steps 11-14.
